I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and have been working in private practice with individuals since 2009.
I am a Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psycotherapy) and work within their ethical framework. I am also listed on their directory, for more information visit: http://www.itsgoodtotalk.org.uk/therapists/in/595cd9/warwickshire/coventry/victoria-helena-cox
I am an Integratively trained counsellor, therefore, my foundations are in Psychodynamic, humanistic and CBT counselling. I have a diverse range of knowledge and varied skill base, including (but not limited to): abuse, domestic violence, terminal illness, trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, separation, divorce, work related problems, mood disorders, addiction and many more. Working Integratively allows me to work collaboratively with each individual in ways which best suit them and meets their individual needs, as everyone is different.
I work with individuals both short term and long term. All sessions are confidential.
I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to explore any problems and to work through them in way that is most helpful to them. I offer a caring, empathetic environment where thoughts and feelings can be discussed freely with someone trained to listen carefully and help you move forward. Many people find that they can get a better understanding of their issues and are more able to make positive life changes through their experience of talking therapy.
