Hello, my name is Vicky, I am a qualified person-centred therapeutic counsellor. I work from counselling rooms in Bradford city centre and in Shipley.
Throughout life many problems and challenges arise for all of us, which at times feel overwhelming and that we can't get past. It can help to talk to someone who is neutral and separate to those closest to us, who can empathize and wont judge you, tell you what to do or how you should be.
I offer a safe, confidential space to listen and support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings and to help you to look at your concerns - a place to help you to discover and move forward in the direction that you feel is right for you. We can arrange to work together in an open ended way until you feel you have achieved what you wanted to or if you prefer we can agree to meet for a set number of sessions.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and follow their ethical guidelines. (A copy of this is available from their website www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework if you would like to find out more.)
