Difficulties are a part of being human. Yet, somehow, we often feel alone in the face of those difficulties. Whether struggling with individual troubles, relationship concerns or matters related to children or family, therapy can be of help.
Veronica cofounded EXIMIA, and organisation providing psychotherapy, coaching and consulting to Individuals, families and teams.
Veronica has trained in several different therapeutic approaches and will combine those techniques and schools of practice to best help and support her clients. She sees therapy as a space to develop strength and resources, as well as examining problems and pain. She has a caring and compassionate approach to therapy understanding that people have a variety of skills, values and beliefs that assist them in changing the relationship with the problems they face.
She has significant experience working with adults who are struggling with the aftermath of trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, divorce, domestic violence, bereavement, addiction, family and relationship issues. In addition to her broad range of skills, for the past three years Veronica has been offering EMDR psychotherapy to clients who have experienced trauma.
One of her main passions is the work she does with parents. She is committed to early intervention and realizes that it is through working with parents and their relationship with their children that we will have more empathic, resilient, caring and productive individuals in our society.
Having trained and worked in different countries, Veronica is particularly receptive to the complexities of the multicultural society we live in. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Initial Consultation 90 minutes £155
The initial consultation is an opportunity for Veronica and you to talk about what might be going on and what your best hopes for counselling are. This is also a time for you to ask any questions you might have about the process and most importantly to see if you feel comfortable working with Veronica. You will agree on an initial conract that is right for you, and review this regularly.
Follow up sessions 50 minutes £120
Most people who come for individual counselling or therapy tend to come weekly to start with. Families often come fortnightly or less frequently. This is an individual decision that depends on you and your circumstances, and what kind of approach and intensity suits you.
On occasions reduced rates might be possible, please discuss this with Veronica.
