About me

I am an UKCP and BACP Registered Psychotherapist offering counselling or psychotherapy for short and long term work.

Are you struggling with everyday life? If yes, then counselling and psychotherapy can be a place of confidential support and care to address your relationship issues, concerns or distress. Many of us have wrongly learnt that if life is painful or tough then we must endure and sort this out alone. The counselling and psychotherapy that I offer is a powerful way to help you experience and appreciate that you do not have to endure painful experiences on your own. Some of my clients bring injuries from their past that need gentle and careful exploration and attention; others bring their current struggles that they are experiencing in their adult relationships, either personally or at work. In other words, therapy is a safe, confidential and supportive space to help you work through the things that trouble you in order to find greater peace and a deeper sense of purpose and direction in your life.

If you would like to pursue this further then please do contact me for an initial session to decide together how best to proceed for you to get the best support and care.

Supervisory Profile

I have the Diploma in Transpersonal and Integrative Supervision from the Psychosynthesis Trust in London. I bring substantial experience to support Counsellors and Therapists who work with young people and adults. I offer individual and group supervision from a Transpersonal and Integrative perspective at my practice in London SW15.

Training, qualifications & experience

Training:

I have an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and a MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy. These qualifications are accredited by UKCP and validated by Middlesex University. My integrative training has taught me to draw on different schools of therapy depending upon the presenting problem that a given client brings. This supports me to honour the uniqueness of each client in a supportive and accepting way.

Personal and Professional Experience

I have extensive therapeutic experience of working with clients presenting with childhood injuries and trauma, relationship issues both at home and at work, issues of bereavement and loss, addictions, anger management, depression and those people suffering with personality problems.

I strive to honour each client's uniqueness and welcome people from different racial, cultural, religious, sexual and ability backgrounds in the spirit of inclusion and celebration.

Counselling and Psychotherapy can help you to:

  • Alleviate feelings of stress and anxiety
  • Stop damaging patterns of behaviour
  • Increase your confidence and self esteem
  • Gain a better understanding of self
  • Improve personal relationships
