About me

I am passionate about working in my chosen field and I am confident that I can help you to get your life back on track whatever the issue.

I have 10 years experience as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist and am a member of two professional bodies, COSCA and BABCP. I adhere strictly to my governing bodies code of practice and ethics to provide you with a first class service.

I specialise in treating anxiety disorders and have a proven track record of success in this area. 97% of my clients experience relief of their symptoms within 6 weeks of commencing therapy.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is effective in treating anxiety and depressive disorders and this is borne out by research. 

I am also an accredited alcohol counsellor and have worked in this field for over 10yrs, I will be happy to work with you whether your goal is abstinence or cutting down. I will teach you techniques that will help you to control or eradicate your substance use, and there will be the opportunity for you to explore why you are drinking or using drugs to excess.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have 10 Yrs experience in the counselling field, having worked for the Majority of my career in the voluntary sector, providing one to one counselling and support for NHS funded projects. I specialise in the treatment of Addictions, Anxiety Disorders, low Mood, Depression and Workplace Bullying. I Provide Therapeutic services to a National Charity “Anxiety UK” and Currently work part Time in the Addictions Field. I receive monthly supervision for my practice from a BABCP accredited psychotherapist.


I am also an Anxiety UK Approved Therapist providing therapeutic support to the charity’s members and partner beneficiaries. I am subject to Anxiety UK’s regular monitoring of my professional qualifications, supervision, continual professional development, insurance and professional body membership in addition to complying with the ethical framework and professional standards set down by my registered governing body.
