Profile

I am a professional integral counsellor with a BACP accredited training. I offer a confidential counselling service for individual adults and work from counselling rooms in central Chelmsford and Little Baddow.

Life doesn't always run smoothly and there are times when we could all use a helping hand and a listening ear. You may feel unhappy about aspects of your life, feel stuck, alone, unable to cope and see no way out. I offer a welcoming and safe environment in which you are free to talk about and explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement or criticism.

Having someone to really listen to you can be the first important step in looking at what is troubling you.  My role is not about telling you what to do. I work with you to grow and develop the self awareness and understanding to come to terms with aspects of your life and uncover the potential to move forwards.

As an integral counsellor I use a range of therapeutic approaches as appropriate to the individual.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I hold a Certificate in Counselling Skills and Diploma of Higher Education in Integral Therapeutic Counselling. 

I am an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have a range of counselling experience including working with clients through a national mental health charity as well as with a leading provider of support to individuals in later life.

Fees

The cost for a 50 minute session is £35 with payment due after each session.

If you have Private Health Insurance your counselling may be eligible for funding. I am happy to confirm if I am an approved provider for your particular insurance company.

The full fee will usually be charged if less than 24 hours notice of cancellation is received.
