I am an Addictions Counsellor and Family Practitioner who is professionally accredited by FDAP (Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals). I offer a confidential service supporting individuals and or their families to address their issues and concerns regarding their drinking or drug use and the impact it has on the people around them.
The aim of my service is to provide a therapeutic approach to help people to learn new ways of dealing with difficult situations. I work with people in active addiction motivating them to look at and deal with their using. I will continue to support individuals through out this process and beyond.
I have also worked with families of alcohol and drug users for many years and know only to well the sources of stress associated with drugs and alcohol and the impact this can have on them.
Families can benefit from addressing their needs and looking at new ways of dealing with difficult situations safely and effectively.

£50 per session for 50 minutes
£60 per session for couples 50 minutes
A client can expect to have one to one sessions lasting fifty minutes, these sessions can take place at an arranged place. I work from home, also from the Practice Rooms who have offices in Bath, Bristol, and Salisbury. I offer an initial appointment to see if we are a good fit. During that time we would look at developing a collaborative approach to addressing the issues involved. I would carry out an asssessment of the clients needs. I would then facilitate the client in working out a care plan where they will take ownership of the goals to be addressed during our time together. Issues such as low self esteem, lack of confidence, learning the implications of addiction and how to overcome them would be part of the on going process.
