Profile
GENERAL COUNSELLING
The Twickenham Counselling Partnership consists of 2 qualified and very experienced counsellors, Verity Jones and Anton Smith. Both practice from a Humanistic orientation. The counselling offered is non-directive and based on the clients' own needs as they express them. Whilst covering all areas of presenting difficulties, such as anger management, addiction, depression, anxiety and relationship problems, each counsellor has their own specialist areas such as childhood abuse, workplace difficulties, bullying and sexual issues.
LOW COST COUNSELLING. There is some availability for low-cost counselling for those on low incomes or benefits. Please contact Anton on 07960 828 858 to discuss.
WORKSHOPS. Did you know that Carl Jung's work with an alcoholic patient lead to the formation of Alcoholics Anonymous?
We hold monthly CPD workshops for therapists, counsellors, trainers and students on the subject of Addiction, Therapy and 12 Step Programmes. These interactive and informative sessions over a day are proving to be of great value to delegates in their understanding of addiction and the recovery process.
See the Notice Board for the date of the next one and read some of the feedback from attendees.
To see what we look like and obtain more detailed information, please go to our website, www.twickenhamrichmondcounselling.co.uk. Although a partnership, each of us operates as an independent counsellor. We have no "heavy" administration procedures, which means you can connect with your choice of counsellor directly and discuss what you need to in strict confidence.
