I am a BPC registered, professionally qualified psychotherapist working in private practice in Lee, South East London. I also work at an inner London NHS hospital specialist psychotherapy service.
I offer a safe space to talk freely, in confidence and without judgement. This might be about any distressing feelings or thoughts, life experiences, particular losses, day-to-day challenges, patterns of behaviour or any other issues that might be difficult for you to manage or which are otherwise troubling for you.
I provide psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy and shorter-term counselling. A good description of these therapy modalities can be found via the following URL: https://www.bpc.org.uk/about-psychotherapy/what-psychotherapy
If you would like more information or to arrange an initial meeting, feel free to contact me.
Training, qualifications & experience
I undertook rigorous professional psychotherapy training at WPF Therapy, one of the leading psychotherapy institutions in the UK.
I hold an MA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice (University of Roehampton, the BPC and the BACP), a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology (University of London) and a Certificate in Counselling (WPF Therapy).
I have extensive experience as a carer, and for the past 15 years I have worked in various mental health-related roles, including in mental health research within the NHS, student and staff support in the higher education sector as well as a psychotherapist in the not-for-profit sector, and most recently, in private practice and in the NHS.
I am a registered professional member of the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council) and the FPC (Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling). I adhere to these organisations' ethical and professional codes of conduct.
I undertake regular supervision and CPD to enrich my clinical work.
