Tuula Rasen PGDip Psych BPC FPC
I am a BPC registered professional psychodynamic psychotherapist based in South East London. I provide one to one psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy as well as psychoanalytic psychotherapy in a quiet, comfortable setting.
I have been practicing as a psychotherapist in private practice and in the not-for-profit sector in London for the past five years. I have worked further 15 years in a number of staff and student support roles within the UK Higher Education sector, including in mental health and wellbeing services.
I have experience supporting adults from a range of backgrounds with emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, sexual difficulties, and issues around trauma, identity, sexuality, loss and bereavement.
I am a professional member of the British Psychoanalytic Council and the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling, and adhere to their codes of conducts.
If you would like more information, you can contact me in confidence.

I trained and qualified in psychodynamic psychotherapy at WPF Therapy, one of the most respected psychotherapy institutions in the UK. This is an opportunity for us to meet, discuss your situation and to consider working together. This session lasts up to 90 minutes and costs £50.
Counselling and psychotherapy sessions
Ongoing counselling and psychotherapy sessions last for 50 minutes and are at the same time each week.
I operate a sliding fee scale from £40 - £75 per session dependent on circumstances.
I offer a limited number of concessionary rates for students, individuals on low income and for clients attending more frequent psychoanalytic psychotherapy sessions.
It can feel difficult to decide which therapist or counsellor to choose and which type of counselling or therapy might be useful. Research has shown that the best predictor for a positive treatment outcome, rather than the type of therapy or counselling, is the therapeutic relationship itself. Therefore, it can be helpful to arrange a one-off meeting to see how you feel about talking with the counsellor or therapist before making any further commitment.
If you would like to arrange a meeting with me or have any questions, you are welcome to contact me by using the details given above.
