About me

I'm Trudi Seely and I created Psychotherapy for Women in Central London because I believe that women's problems are unique and need a special kind of understanding.

As a professionally qualified and experienced psychotherapist, I have been treating women for a number of years and I have come to understand that it takes a woman to understand the difficulties that happen to women. Difficulties like Depression, Relationship problems, Divorce, Bereavement, Anger, Work related issues, Surviving Abuse, Family Issues and Stress and Anxiety

Balancing these problems along with holding down a demanding job and coping with a family, is a challenge
many women face.

At Psychotherapy for Women offer a safe confidential space where  you  can talk over your difficulties. During this process,I can help you gain a better understanding of the problems that make you unhappy. I can also help you gain a better understanding of yourself.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an accredited Integrative Psychotherapist registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) I am also a member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BAPC).

These affiliations mean that I am fully qualified and work to a strict code of ethics and practice.

I draw on extensive experience based on my work in the NHS and in private practice. However, my primary role as a therapist is to listen to you and help you articulate and explore your feelings in a safe and non judgemental setting.
