Amersham & Chesham
I suspect that, by clicking on this page you may consider counselling, even by just considering it, you are taking a positive step. Perhaps you have relationship difficulties at home or in the workplace, or going through a difficult period in your life. Maybe the time has come for you to work on long term feelings of depression, anxiety or panic attacks. You may want to explore past experiences, consider new options, change patterns in your life and really reach your true potential.
When we experience distress in our lives and feel there is nowhere to turn then asking for help can seem like the most difficult thing to do. It can be a relief to know how you are feeling happens to many people at some time in their lives.
Feeling struck or alone with one's pain can seem all consuming with nowhere to turn, help is available and freedom can be achieved.
My primary aim is to offer you a confidential, empathic, non-judgemental, respectful and supportive space to explore whatever has been troubling you and reflect on your experiences. I can offer a warm, accepting and safe place for you to explore any concerns ....if you are ready to take that first step.
My work is integrative meaning I pull on various styles of therapy to suit the client. Depending on the individual case clients may choose to work over a long or short term. Some clients have specific issues to address, others want to explore more complex issues events from past and present. Some people stay for a few sessions, quickly making sense of what is happening for them, others stay longer exploring more complex events from the past and present. My first priority is to build a good relationship with you, ensuring you feel safe and listened to and together exploring ways of working.
If you are unsure if psychotherapy or counselling is right for you at this moment in time then please contact me for an initial discussion of your issues and needs.
