About me

Hi, I'm Trevor Gray.

I’ve worked in performance all my life - as a Top 10 Music Recording Artist, Producer and Composer, as well as an EPL Premiership Football Academy Youth Development Coach - so I have extensive experience in performing in the arts and sport at a high level.

Now I’m a qualified therapist, counsellor and performance consultant - using my experience and training to help people with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, abuse, personal relationships and self-esteem, whether in the performing world or not - and am a Registered Practitioner with the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM).

My clients have included West End, professional and student actors, dancers, musicians, singers and TV presenters, as well as professional and academy footballers, cricketers, golfers, show jumpers, swimmers, Team GB gymnasts, rowers and fencers.

I was previously the Behavioural Therapist at the Brit School for Performing Arts & Technology in London, as well as lead counsellor for students at schools and colleges.

If you’re looking for someone to talk to, have a look round my website and give me a free no obligation call on 07970 440441 to see if I can help.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

UKATA
UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA)

UKATA (formally the Institute of Transactional Analysis) is the national UK Transactional Analysis organisation representing all fields of TA theory and practice. TA can be used as an effective tool in a wide range of contexts such as: personal development, management, coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, teaching, education, parenting and more.
