About me

If you are reading this, you maybe looking for counselling or just curious to see what's available.  I am friendly, open and I maybe that person to help you.
I am passionate about my role as a Counsellor and helping and supporting people through those difficult times, that we all experience at some point in our lives.

At some point in our lives we all have to deal with expected or unexpected events, which can often leave us feeling anxious, empty, depressed, suicidal and very much alone, wondering which way to turn.
Many people come to counselling to help with the emotions that these events cause, some people live with them and become stuck, directionless.. Does this sound familiar?

Counselling provides people with a 'neutral' place to talk with someone who is impartial to their life or problems. Being listened to and allowed to express all emotions in an non judgemental atmosphere that is confidential and safe, can sometimes be, what is needed to make sense of a situation.
I am friendly, honest and open and can offer a safe space, either face-to-face or via the telephone, whatever suits you.

We can use the time and space to explore problems and issues in a way where understanding, acceptance and empowerment become possible and solutions or ways forward are much more likely to be found or to accept that things cannot always be changed.

I have experience of working with adults, young children, teenagers, offering an emphatic and supporting relationship,  I create a naturally friendly atmosphere or so I'm told. I will listen and help you to understand what is going on for you right now and look at making whatever it is, manageable or work with you to help you find your own solution or ways of accepting the situation.

Concessionary rates for low incomes and students are available.
