Whatever your reason for counselling OR if you just want to talk, I am here to listen.

I am a qualified Person Centred/Integrative therapist.

It is the combination of directive and non directive Therapy - (Solution Focused Brief Therapy/ Person Centred Therapy and CBT) - this means that I will work with you to ensure we find the most effective way forward for you.

At present I work in Private Practice, for Employee Assistance Programs and Organisations - local and away.

~ I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

~ I have Professional Indemnity Insurance

SINCERE, NOT EVASIVE

Anxieties about Attending

It can be daunting to attend the first counselling session, but I would like to encourage you to do so anyway if it feels right for you.

I take an open, compassionate and respectful approach to your counselling. We can talk about all of the difficulties that you cannot talk about elsewhere. And we’ll go at your pace.

Counselling is your decision and your's alone.

Counselling is discussing and working through your problems with you.

No one can tell you what to do, my job is NOT to offer advice or tell you what to do, but to work together to resolve dilemma's that are currently uncomfortable for you.

We all have the ability to know what we want, it is that shift from the comfort zone, that we are so used to and taking the exciting/nervous first step into the unknown.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Please ring, email or text if you have any questions - please ask   -

There is no obligation to book an appointment, if you decide you would like an appointment, we'll go from there.

HOW LONG DOES EACH APPOINTMENT LAST?

All appointments are for 60 minutes.

HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS WILL I NEED?

That depends on what you want.

Short Term (1-6 sessions). Longer Term (10+ sessions)

WHAT IF I AM UNSURE?

If you are unsure about committing to regular appointments but still need to talk, it may be helpful to have an appointment and then contact me at a later date, if/when you feel ready to meet again.
