Many of us find ourselves in a crisis at some point in our lives which encourages us to consider who we are and where life is heading. Taking the first steps to begin counselling can be scary, they can also lead to a new understanding of ourselves and any difficulties we may be facing in life. Exploring aspects of our past and present life can help gain an element of power over where we would like to be in the future.
I aim to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgemental environment for my clients to explore issues and difficulties. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor which means my core training includes Psychodynamic, Person Centred and CBT theories. My style of training enables me to combine aspects of each theory and form a unique style of therapy for each unique client.
I have worked with a diverse client base with variations including gender, culture, religion, age. Working for a mental health charity has enabled me gain experience working with many mental health issues including depression, anxiety, loss, PTSD, OCD, abuse, addiction, relationship issues and many more.
