Tracey Joseph - Traceydarlenecounselling (MBACP)
Holmfield Consulting Rooms
Holmfield Court, 1 Holmfield Road
I offer a confidential and sensitive counselling service based on trust and mutuality. As a Humanistic/Person Centred counsellor I respect the uniqueness of each of us, defined by our culture, beliefs and life experience.
With over twenty years’ experience of working in Mental Health, in various settings, working in roles that involved a caring and empathic approach to my work.
I feel stigma about emotional distress can prevent people from accessing talking therapies they could otherwise benefit from. I do not claim to be an expert in individuals life’s and experience; however I do believe that counselling offers an opportunity to create positive change to emotional well being and can lead to better ways of coping.
I have a special interest in Music/Film as part of therapy, allowing an alternative forum forum expression and an opportunity to share feelings that may be difficult to convey. I also have a keen interest in developing my skills in areas such as Mindfulness and Relaxation.
I have now been practising as a counsellor for 10 years, during which I have been fortunate to meet some amazing people. I continue to learn from them and feel privileged to share some of their journey.
