About me

My name is Tracey Buckle and I work in and around Accrington, Lancashire. I am a qualified counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
As a counsellor I aim to offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore any issues that may be important to you at this time.

Therapy is a very personal process and sometimes it is necessary to talk about painful feelings or difficult situations. It's not always possible to talk to family and friends as we don't want to burden them or it could be that they are too close to the situation themselves. I am not here to give you advice or to pass judgement on anything you say but to assist you to gain insight and make your own decisions.

I work as an integrative counsellor, which means that I combine ideas and insights drawn from different counselling theories in order to tailor my counselling sessions to the needs of the individual. This approach supports my philosophy that each person is unique and therefore no one approach suits all.

I have experience of serving in the Royal Air Force, working within the Mental Health sector, Supported Living and with the Homeless. My counselling work has included working with ITV, Local Charities and the local Women’s Centres. I currently run my private practice from home.

Supervision & training

Supervision is an essential requirement for all counsellors, helping them to work with clients in a safe, ethical way. Supervision can also help any employees who are feeling stressed or overwhelmed by their work, as it very helpful to talk issues through to someone who is not involved in their workplace. .
