I am a BACP Registered Therapeutic Counsellor.
I have been supporting adults and young people since 2012 helping them to improve their relationships, guide them through anxiety and depression and offer support at times when it feels difficult to cope with life.
I’m able to offer a comfortable environment that is safe and calm. I’m genuinely interested in what you have to say, and understand how hard it is to find that person you feel you can trust. I offer a caring supportive service, and I will listen to your concerns with compassion and patience.
Life at times may feel daunting and overwhelming, due to present or past difficulties and you don’t have to be alone on your life journey.

Depression and anxiety can hinder work prospects and put pressure on relationships; working together we can find strategies that will help bring a sense of increased pleasure, contentment and wellbeing to life; it can help you to understand your patterns and behaviours; empowering you to make changes and feel in greater control of your life. This leads to increased confidence and trusting your decision process.
Therapy offers a little stillness in a chaotic world offering the opportunity to reflect, heal, gain understanding of life patterns this understanding leads to personal change and growth. It increases motivation and gives a sense of well-being.

One to One Counselling & Psychotherapy
I offer support in a confidential and comfortable space for you to explore your needs and find your way through your dificulties.
It may be that you have specific life experiences and events that you want to work on, or you maybe in need to offloading everyday stress and searching for peace of mind. Counselling can provide support and self development in such times.
I understand that seeking help can, in itself, bring anxiety and fears, so I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding counselling over the phone before you make your decision.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a Therapeutic Counsellor I am guided by the Person Centred Approach. I work in a way that incorporates and integrates many theories and styles of therapy including, Mindfulness practices and Relaxation techniques, These can offer relief from some of the physical symptoms; such as sleep problems and the physical signs of anxiety too, allowing the body some breathing space so the emotional healing can begin. It can equip you with tools to move forward with greater confidence and control in your life.
BACP Accredited CPCAB Diploma in Person Centred Counselling
Yoga Alliance Accredited Mindful Yoga Teacher (Zenways)
I am an Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, (BACP) and work in line with their Ethical Framework for Good Practise this promotes good practice and underpins the safety of clients'.
