About me

I have served in the Armed Forces for twenty six years and worked in industry for six years. I have trained as a Person Centred/Integrative counsellor for six years, gaining a Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling studies. I have been counselling for six years, and spent three years previous to that counselling the perpetrators of domestic violence.

My approach is integrative with a strong person centred foundation. I believe we all have within us the positivity, drive and motivation to overcome any difficulties we encounter, enabling is to live happy and functional lives. In a safe, confidential environment we will explore your innermost thoughts, feeling and emotions. You will have complete autonomy and respect that will allow the development of a non judgemental and empathic relationship, clarifying who and where you are, and enabling you to make the decisions necessary for change.

I have studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and Integrative theories as part of my studies, as a result I am able to help with following issues:

Abuse                                                                                               Bereavement

Depression                                                                                       Domestic violence

Low self-esteem and self-confidence                                               Personal development

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)                                            Stress and anxiety
