I have served in the Armed Forces for twenty six years and worked in industry for six years. I have trained as a Person Centred/Integrative counsellor for six years, gaining a Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling studies. I have been counselling for six years, and spent three years previous to that counselling the perpetrators of domestic violence.
My approach is integrative with a strong person centred foundation. I believe we all have within us the positivity, drive and motivation to overcome any difficulties we encounter, enabling is to live happy and functional lives. In a safe, confidential environment we will explore your innermost thoughts, feeling and emotions. You will have complete autonomy and respect that will allow the development of a non judgemental and empathic relationship, clarifying who and where you are, and enabling you to make the decisions necessary for change.
I have studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and Integrative theories as part of my studies, as a result I am able to help with following issues:

As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I work within clear ethical boundaries governed by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. The purpose of this code is to establish and maintain standards for counsellors who are members of the BACP, to inform and protect organisations and people who use my services.

Full employment £35.00 per session.
Part time/students £25.00 per session
Low income/unemployed £20.00 per session
The first session is an assessment and takes 30 minutes.
Thereafter each session is of 60 minutes
