I have a warm and approachable manner and have worked with people age 4-98 in my capacity as a Clinical Psychologist! I am available to travel to your home if you are unable to travel due to disability. I understand how feeling low or anxious can impact on your life and how you feel about yourself. I have lots of experience in how health and disability affects us. I have specialist knowledge in stroke and other neurological conditions and how this impacts on families.
I am available out of hours on request.
I charge £70 per session.
I am an HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and BPS (British Psychological Society) registered chartered Clinical Psychologist specialising in neuropsychology (the study of how changes in the brain influence the way we think, act and feel). I love what I do.
Clinical Psychologists are trained in thinking holistically about people and their lives including any difficulties with how you are feeling and thinking like memory or finding words or solving problems or just not feeling yourself.
Clinical Psychologists think with you about your body, your mind, your brain, your feelings, your relationships and family, your life story, and how this all works together. We also think about how this might be influencing your mood.
I currently work in brain injury, and have experience in physical and mental disability, stroke and dementia amongst other areas of cognitive (thinking) changes. I try to understand how changes in the way we think and act impact on you and your family, particularly if you are a carer. I have worked for the NHS, and for nationally recognised charities, as well as in private practice. I can also conduct neuropsychological assessments for adults of all ages.
