Dr. Timothy Mahy
The Natural Health Clinic
Therapy is something that other people need, so why would you benefit from it?
Surely it is just a luxury?
Of course not! You deserve the best life you can get.
Within my practice, I see a huge variety of people, of all backgrounds, from company directors through to students. Anxiety, low self-esteem, phobias, panic, anger, and a whole cocktail of issues, impacts more people than we often realise.
The official statistics of 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health issue within their lifetime appear highly conservative, especially given those are the statistics for the number of people who have some sort of phobia. I would anticipate everyone to have some form of problematic anxiety, fear, or psychological challenge within their lifetime. It is totally normal.
Over the past few months I have helped people with a variety of issues, including: bulimia nervosa; binge-eating disorder; addictions; anxiety; anger issues; habits; work-related stress; panic disorder; relationship issues; phobias; and irritable bowel syndrome.
As a health psychologist I am interested in helping improve your quality of life and have an interest in supporting people with chronic pain, irritable bowel syndrome, and challenges adapting to long-term health conditions. I have an international client-base for my IBS treatment programme and am currently developing new and exciting methods to make significant improvement in IBS symptoms.
I invest significantly in continuing professional development and bespoke my methods to meet your needs. Flexing to the issues brought into the session, rather than acting rigidly based on my plan for the session.
