Tim Moorhouse MBACP (Snr. Accred) MNIMH
I am an accredited & experienced counsellor & psychotherapist, I have over 21 years of experience and am passionate about helping people feel more satisfied, healthier and content in their lives.
I work with a wide range of issues including relationship issues and couples counselling, depression, anxiety, stress, abuse, anger, bereavement, phobias & trauma. Since 1994 I have worked in the NHS, in various colleges and at the University of Manchester as well as in private practice; providing counselling and training in counselling for a very wide range of people.
I believe that counselling is based on the trust that a professional and confidential relationship creates where I will be accepting, understanding and real with you. My role is not to tell you what to do but help you discover answers that are right for you.

My fees are £50 - £75 per hour session where you choose, within that range, the fee you feel you can afford.
I offer an initial consultation, which is a chance for you to meet me and discuss your situation. It is an opportunity to check out which option might be the best for you and for me to see if I am the right person to help you. There is no obligation to continue working with me if this does not feel right. By the end of this session we will have come to some agreement about working together. This is a fee payable session.
Milton Hall is very easy to find on Deansgate as it is next to the Sainsburys local at the corner of Deansgate and Quay Street (which has the Opera House on it). It is well serviced by lots of buses and trams which come into the city centre. Deansgate and St Peters Square being the nearest tram stops. There are also various parking options but the cheapest is the Euro Car Park opposite the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate near the station.
