Life doesn't always give us what we want, but I believe life will always give us what we need to survive. At times this can leave us experiencing thoughts and feelings, that we feel are negative or maybe even destructive to our own lives or those around us. I offer a safe and non-judgemental space for the exploration of these thoughts and feelings, working with people to identify choices and implement changes they wish to make in their lives.
My experience of therapy is that it is not one size fits all, after all we are each unique, I adopt an integrative approach to provide a therapeutic safe space as unique as each individual I work with. I have experience of working with a variety of issues and concerns including, but not exclusive to, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and childhood sexual abuse.
It can be difficult to find the right counsellor and this is why I offer a free induction, this is an opportunity to see if we are compatible to work together. This is also an opportunity to gently explore initially what you would like to get out of the therapeutic process and also if it is the right decision for you.
I currently have availability in Ely on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, although I can offer weekend appointments upon request. I also offer concessions for counselling students, young people and low income families, this is negotiable at the induction.
If you would like to find out more please feel free to phone, text or email me and I will respond at my earliest opportunity.
