I am an integrative counsellor, with experience in working with anxiety. I work with people looking at what is influencing them to experience these feelings, explore current coping strategies that maybe in place from obsessive compulsive behaviours through to withdrawal.
I also have experience in working with depression, this can quite often present alongside anxiety or General Anxiety Disorder (GAD), working with people exploring the choices they have and helping to develop self awareness and self care.
I believe that life will always give us what we need, but rarely what we want. At times this can leave us experiencing feelings of hopelessness and low self worth. The therapeutic process provides a safe, neutral and non-judgemental space to explore and challenge our core beliefs, which are a result of our experience and environment.
The therapeutic process is a process of change that can feel at times overwhelming, the desire to change something in your life maybe what has led you to click onto this profile today. I offer a free induction, this is an opportunity for you to see if we are compatible to work together. This is also an opportunity to identify what you wish to get out of the therapeutic process and also if entering into the process is the right decision for you.
I am available to work with individuals and group work with adults and young people over 14. I offer concessions for counselling students, young people and low income families, this is negotiable on request. If you would like to find out more please feel free to phone, text or email me and I will respond at my earliest opportunity.
