We’re a group of practitioners who have come together to make therapy affordable to the wider community. We know that people who discover the transformative power of therapy, where unlocking the ability to openly express your emotions becomes a catalyst for positive change in your life.
Inside Talk was co-founded by senior therapists, Mark Archer and Ros Stone who are dedicated to providing quality therapy services for all.
Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, or simply looking for a space to reflect on where you are and how you got here; we are listening.
Training, qualifications & experience
Inside Talk Affordable Counselling & Psychotherapy
Mark and Ros set up Inside Talk in 2023 to offer affordable counselling and psychotherapy to the wider community. It has now become a widely respected online practice.
Ros and Mark are both BACP Senior/Accredited practitioners with over 50 years experience between them.
Mark has 25+ years experience working in mental health in the NHS, Social Services, the charity sector, and also private work. He holds a Dual Honours Degree in Psychology and Biology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy uses a developmentally orientated relational approach to psychotherapy.
Ros is a senior accredited psychotherapist, counsellor, coach and mediator. She has a private practice in Hampstead, offering couple and individual therapy, coaching and supervision. Her journey spans coaching in the legal sector, counselling in the NHS, and coaching and training doctors. She is also Clinical Director of a charity dedicated to supporting abuse victims,
If you choose to contact us at Inside Talk, you will be fully assessed by Mark or Ros before being matched with a therapist who they feel will best meet your needs.
All of the therapists at Inside Talk are carefully selected by Mark and Ros and trained on either BACP, UKCP or similar approved courses. Our counsellors are all members of the BACP or similar, fully insured and receive full clinical supervision with either Mark or Ros. Our therapists are either fully qualified, completing their post qualified doctoral training, working towards accreditation or nearing the end of their training and building clinical hours.
You will be offered ongoing open-ended sessions. These can be face to face at either Lonsdale Road in Queens Park or in Hampstead or they can be online from anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
