Tas Franklin (MBACP)
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor / psychotherapist that can help you, whatever the reasons are that have brought you to me. There are many reasons that bring people to counselling. It may be something specific such as a bereavement or having suffered some trauma or abuse. You may be struggling with relationships or feelings of panic, anxiety and unhappiness. Whatever the cause, it is the impact on your life that brings you to me.
Some people simply want the opportunity to make sense of their life choices and experiences.
Couples often come to me when they are in crisis or feel stuck in their relationship. I can help you to think about and understand your relationship and how it can work for you.
I offer a safe therapeutic space where together we can think about and explore the issues that are affecting your life.
Counselling with me is a journey of self discovery and the working through of difficult experiences, in order for you to move forward in a more positive way.

By reading this it tells me that you have a curiosity about counselling and are perhaps wondering whether it is right for you. This in itself is an important and sometimes difficult first step. If you feel that you would like to explore it some more, then you can contact me for an assessment appointment. This is an opportunity for us to meet and talk about what has brought you to counselling. It is a no-obligation meeting where you will be able to find out how I work and can decide if I am the right counsellor for you, or if this is the right time for you to start counselling.
If you would like to continue, then we will agree on a convenient regular day and time which will then be reserved for you. Each session is for 50 minutes.
I offfer fixed short term sessions as well as open ended longer-term counselling.
