I am a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with 14 years of NHS Experience. I offer therapy to individuals and couples, treating a wide range of mental health problems; Depression, Anxiety disorders (including panic disorder, social anxiety and health anxiety), PTSD, childhood trauma, relationship problems, work and stress related problems. I combine my current NHS role with Private Practice. I have a first class degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Kings College, London) and completed previous training at the Institute of Psychiatry (London).
I also offer Compassion Focused Therapy, a therapy founded by Professor Paul Gilbert to offer treatment for people when their response to standard CBT may have been limited and for those who have experienced harsh or difficult early background experiences. I have worked for several years (since 2000) within Inpatient, & Community Mental Health Settings within the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust.
I currently work in a Primary Care Psychological Therapy Service as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist within a local NHS Trust and combine private practice with this role.
