About me
I am a registered Counselling Psychologist in the UK with over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. My expertise lies in assisting individuals facing challenges related to Complex Trauma, Low Self-Esteem/Self-Worth, and Body Image Difficulties.
Life is inherently complex, often beyond our control. We cannot choose our family or the experiences we encounter during our formative years. Yet, these circumstances significantly influence key aspects of our lives.
As humans, we have fundamental needs, encompassing both physical necessities like food, water, shelter, and rest, and emotional needs such as safety, security, and belonging. When these essential needs are unmet, it can lead to profound consequences in our lives.
In my role as a psychologist, I deeply comprehend how challenging life experiences can affect our sense of self and identity. They can manifest as feelings of powerlessness, a loss of control, shame, self-doubt, self-blame, and uncertainty about our future.
Leveraging my knowledge and extensive experience, I am committed to supporting you in overcoming adverse life experiences, including complex trauma, low self-esteem, and body image issues. Together, we will cultivate the skills necessary to fulfill your fundamental and unique needs.
I firmly believe that everyone deserves a healthy and constructive relationship with themselves, which is integral to navigating life's ups and downs.
My passion is to assist you in understanding your personal narrative, articulating your experiences, and empowering you to make enduring changes that will enhance your overall well-being. Through evidence-based psychological interventions, we will collaborate to develop a compassionate and empathetic understanding of your difficulties, including any factors that may be hindering your progress.
I am here to guide you in making changes that align with your values and activate your unique potential. Reach out today to learn more about how I can be of assistance.
Additional Clinic Information: I provide both in-person and remote consultation services for your convenience.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
