Thank you for taking the time to viewing my profile. Let me tell you about myself and what I can offer to you.
As a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP, my networking abilities and working within the community has given me the insight and skills to work as a counsellor.
I have been taught how to help different people to help themselves. Within my last job as a Health trainer, I was extensively trained in areas of interventions of nutrition, mental health and physical activity. A large part of the training I have done has been looking at human behaviour, the barriers, different theories and methods to way people do the things which make them unhappy, and how we can move them onto better, happier and healthier lives. Plus when I worked for the Samaritan I use to train the new Samaritans.
I am active and enthusiastic about my service which will impress any potential signposting services. Using my excellent communication skills will help potential clients.
I do have dyslexia and found that this has not stopped me with my written or verbal skills. I have found that it has helped me with building trust with client who have dyslexia, can't read or write, or any disability, it makes me human and not perfect which people can relate to.
I am offering a confidential counselling service for couples or individuals in the Yorkshire area. I am accepting, a good at listening and supporting when it come to you trying to identify negative emotions or behaviours to enable you to positive growth and move forward in your life. As it is most important for you to feel comfortable and at ease with me I am offering an initial assessment of 30 minutes free of charge so you can meet with me and decide for yourself. This assessment will highlight the areas of concern that you have and for me to hear how you would like things to progress.
If I sound like the kind of counsellor you like to see please drop me a line or give me a call. Tal Garfitt.
