Suzanne Worrica M.A. UKCP MBACP
51 Great Portland Street
Thank you for clicking on my profile. My name is Suzanne, I want to start by reassuring you that whatever has brought you to be reading this, we can work together to understand what is happening and I can help you overcome this. You may be facing emotions, thoughts or feelings that are causing you distress and you may not understand. Counselling with me offers you the time and space to explore and deal with these thoughts and emotions.
How I Work
I offer short-term and open-ended psychotherapy. This means I offer clients sessions over a shorter period (3 - 4 months) or I can offer ongoing support for as long as you need.
I am a Gestalt therapist, this describes the type of counselling I am trained in and offer my clients. Gestalt therapy is a practical, present-centred approach that can help you make sense of the difficulties affecting you. I work with you to bring awareness to what is troubling you in mind and body so that you can find some relief and recover your energy for life.
Why Choose Me
I am particularly interested in how we relate to other people in our love, family, work and other relationships and how we can improve relationships with ourselves and the people and world around us. I offer you a safe, confidential place to explore limiting self-beliefs and patterns of behaviour that may no longer be helpful to you - and support you to see the choices you have about your life. I imagine you want solutions to whatever is troubling you and I can support you to find better understanding.
I have many years experience in the mental wellbeing and creative fields.
My interest and experience also include:
- childhood and event trauma
- infertility and early menopause
- loss and grief
- generalised anxiety
- relationship difficulties
- growth and change
- sexual desire
- migration, belonging and identity
