Susie Hewitt CTA (P), UKCP Reg, MBACP Accred.
Based in North Manchester (close to Manchester City Centre, Media City, Prestwich, Swinton and Worsley), I have daytime and evening slots available.
I've been in Private Practice since 2008 and have worked with people to resolve many problems such as anxiety, depression, anger management issues, bereavement, weight/food problems, relationship issues and abuse.
I have experience and interest in working with people who suffered childhood sexual abuse, adoption, family relationship issues and weight related issues.
I have seen clients from ages 18 to 87!
I run individual, couple, family and Group sessions (Group sessions currently Monday evenings).

HOW COUNSELLING/PSYCHOTHERAPY CAN HELP YOU
Some of the benefits my past clients have told me they gained from our weekly sessions are:-
- "Being really listened to, without my reality being redefined or judged"
- "Time and space to focus just on me"
- "Understanding why I am the way I am, and what and how I can change"
- "You can put my experience into a Model and we can talk through solutions together"
- "Stopping some of the negative behaviour patterns I've inherited from my parents, and don't want to pass onto my children"
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a CTA (P) Certified Transactional Analyst in March 2016, after 8 years of training. I'm UKCP Registered and BACP accredited.
My Private Practice started in 2008, and I have seen clients for a few sessions or over a longer period to assist them in making their desired life changes.
I work from home in the Pendlebury area of Swinton, 15 minutes drive from Manchester, near the M602, M60, M61 and M62 motorway network and less than 10 minutes drive from Media City.

I have slots available on Mon, Tues and Weds evenings, plus weekdays between 9.30am and 3pm.
My passion for helping others making positive life changes stems from my own desires and success at dealing with emotional difficulties I had related to my adoption as a child.

I believe in the benefits of Counselling & Psychotherapy and am proud to have trained to practice in this area.
