Susan Wright

Hi, My name is Susan Wright. I am a practising sex and relationship therapist working in East Kilbride, Glasgow. I am available for face to face or online appointments via Skype and Zoom. Please ask if you need more information on how online sessions work.  

People enter counselling for many different reasons and each person’s issues are unique. My focus is always on you and what you feel you want to bring into the counselling room.

I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor who has experience in various aspects of therapy. Person- Centred counselling focuses on the client and how they perceive themselves and the problems they are facing. I work with individuals and couples struggling with a range of issues, please see the list below,  but my main area of expertise are within sex and relationship problems. These include, but are not limited to:

• Male and Female Loss of Desire
• Erection Difficulties
• Vaginismus
• Relationships

I have an honest and open approach to my work. I strive to provide a confidential, supportive and safe space where you can discuss and explore your personal choices, behaviours, feelings and beliefs, all without fear of judgement, reproach or discrimination. I will help you make choices and changes, not make them for you. All sessions are tailored to your needs and allow you to explore your feelings and issues in a time-frame you are comfortable with.

Our initial session together will be a chance for us to discuss the framework for counselling including confidentiality,  length of sessions, what is expected of us both etc. This first meeting gives the opportunity to ask any questions that you might have before we start on any deeper work.

I am a member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and work within their code of ethics.

I have the ability to work with a range of issues that could be brought into the session. If your concern isn't covered on the list or you are unsure about it, email or call me and we can discuss it further.

Individual sessions £60per hour

Couple sessions £80per hour

Concessions can be discussed.

All sessions are the full 50 minute therapeutic hour.
This can be paid in cash at the start of the session or bank transfer.
Cancellations will be charged in full unless cancelled or amended 24 hours before start of session.
