About me

Listening, Talking, Awareness, Motivation.

Hello and thank you for visiting my profile.

The essence of therapy is the development of a relationship based on trust, empathy and respect. Meeting in a place of safety allows us to explore feelings and emotions that are difficult to face alone, or discuss with family and friends. In an atmosphere of acceptance and trust we can explore patterns of behavior that case distress and anxiety. Talking about experiences and the emotions behind them allows understanding of ourselves and our relationships. As we become more aware of ourselves, we are no longer driven by habits that are damaging, but are able to choose healthy ways of dealing with life's challenges.

With my experience in the field and the tools that I have learnt along the way; together with your will-to-heal and considerable inner resources, we will help you transform limiting self beliefs and the pain of outgrown ways into new growth; further potential, for greater health and happiness.

I trained as a psychotherapist because I believe in the amazing potential we all have to be the best of who we are, and it is a privilege to be able to help my clients get in touch with their potential and to witness them grow and experience greater fulfillment in their lives over the course of treatment.

I know how difficult it can be to take that initial step to contact a counsellor or therapist, but most of us who do so, soon discover the process is deeply rewarding; and research backs this up increasingly telling us how and why psychotherapy works. One of my commitments to you and our work together, is to keep up to date with current research so that I can offer you the best possible therapeutic intervention and together we can help you get the results you want.

If you would like to explore the possibility of working with me,whether that is face to face therapy or telephone therapy, please call or email to arrange an initial assessment session. That's your chance to tell me a bit about what brings you to therapy and to get a feel of whether or not you would like us to work together I look forward to hearing from you.

I hope to walk alongside you on this journey of self-discovery.

Best wishes Susan
