Profile

I have worked with individuals, couples and groups for over twenty years and have a wide experience of different methods of therapy. I have also taught in counselling schools and institutions. I am particularly interested in working with issues that trouble people whether it is within themselves or in relation to others.  I think people can  get 'stuck' in unsatisfying patterns of personal and social interactions and thus find it difficult to live a fulfilling life.  Sometimes it can take a short time for someone to become clear about where they are going and what they want, and sometimes people want to take longer.

Therapy is an opportunity to understand yourself better and explore the ways in which you could increase your potential to live a creative, rewarding life. I offer both short term therapy to focus on a specific problem and a longer term, deeper exploration of your life.

I live outside Tunbridge Wells, well off the road, with easy parking very close to me.

Fees

I charge £50 for individuals and £60 for couples. My sessions last 50 mins.

Further Information

I originally trained as a teacher before moving into counselling and psychotherapy and trained as a person centred counsellor in the early '90's.  Over the years I have become increasingly interested in personal growth and how to enhance it, so have been in my own TA therapy for many years, as well as attending workshops and delivering training myself.
