I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor/psychotherapist.
Psychodynamic counselling can be helpful for many emotional or relationship difficulties. I provide once weekly long or short term confidential support according to individual need and offer some day time appointments for those with limited income.
It can sometimes be helpful to identify current patterns of behaviour or ways of thinking which may be related to past experiences. Thinking and reflecting on our current struggles in this way can help to facilitate a better understanding of ourselves and our relationships. We can use this knowledge and understanding to set new goals or make different choices which may lead to positive changes in our lives.
Bereavement, anxiety, depression and relationship issues are a few examples of problems that may be alleviated through a confidential and non judgemental therapeutic relationship
