I am an experienced, qualified, therapist offering caring, safe and supportive counselling in an open, non-judgemental environment.
I offer counselling to adults, children and young people covering a wide a range of diverse issues such as anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, anger, depression, stress, and self esteem.
My main approach is person-centred and I work in an integrative way, this means that we will work in a way that best suits your needs such as CBT, ACT and creative approaches.
I provide a safe space where you are free to explore your feelings, thoughts, behaviours, experiences and hopes and dreams.
My private practice is in the Hughenden Valley close to Great Missenden, .
Prestwood, High Wycombe and Aylesbury.
I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within its ethical framework.
I am a member of Bucks Family Network offering therapeutic support for families in the Buckinghamshire area
Training, qualifications & experience
Diploma in Person centred Psychotherapy
Foundation year in Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health - Tavistock and Portman Clinic.
Other training includes; acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Creative arts in counselling, Sand tray work, Solution focused brief therapy, attachment theory, and supporting parents of troubled teenagers.
I have 10 years experience as an adult counsellor for various agencies including Bucks Mind working in the areas of distress, bereavement, loss, parenting issues, relationship difficulties, stress, anxiety, self-harm, bullying and anger management.
I have also worked for 3 years as a counsellor for The Children and Young People's Service at Bucks Mind in partnership with CAMHS.

My private practice is in a purpose built, comfortable room in the lovely Hughenden Valley. There is a private drive with good parking space.
