Aileen Blake, Dip.Couns. BACP (Individual Member)
Hello, my name is Aileen and I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor. I work across a range of issues using my skills to help people bring about positive change in their lives. Empathic and non-judgemental, I use various approaches in my work to best meet the needs of the individual. I aim to enable and empower you by way of working with you, within the safety of a trusting therapeutic relationship, where reflection can take place and positive strategies identified to move forward towards your desired objectives.
Counselling can help you openly explore your thoughts and feelings, be well supported and listened to and be gently challenged and surprised as you examine dynamics that are perpetuating negative life experiences. It can help you increase your self-confidence, self-awareness and communication skills and address low self-esteem and challenge unhelpful thought patterns.
You are a unique person and, as such your situation and experience will be unique too. You may speak to me confidentially about anything at all that is currently troubling you, secure in the knowledge that I have been qualified for 20 years. Also, I have worked across many areas and am compassionate and deeply interested in helping others to achieve happier and more fulfilled lives.
I work with Adults over the age of 16, of any race, religion, culture, or sexual orientation offering short or long term therapy as necessary.
If you would like to find out more or book an appointment, please contact me, without obligation. All enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence. It will be good to hear from you.
