I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and a qualified Clinical Supervisor who can listen, be empathic and explore your experiences with you in a relaxed and confidential space. I offer:

I am Bupa and AXA PPP recognised. I am a fully trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapist.
Throughout life, at different times, we all face problems and sometimes it can be hard to admit that we might need help and support to get through it. In taking the first step we will work together to find ways to cope with the dark thoughts and feelings you might be experiencing.
During our therapeutic relationship I will work with you to build awareness, understanding, and resilience. The therapeutic relationship is central to my work with each individual I take the whole person's holistic needs into account, considering all aspects that might be impacting their emotional well-being.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked with adults, children and young people with a range of mental health and well-being problems for over 7 years. I am an integrative practitioner who is trained in the person-centred approach, the psychodynamic approach, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and integrative practice. These various approaches along with my experience allow me to apply a range of skills according to your individual needs. I am also a fully trained EMDR therapist.
I am also a trained Supervisor (accredited with RAPPS). I offer clinical supervision to trainees and professionals from different disciplines including Nurse therapists, Counsellors etc. I continue to engage in professional development.
I have worked in various therapeutic settings including; Inpatient and Day Care Acute services in The Priory Group and Huntercombe Hospitals with adults and adolescents; Bereavement services, Student Counselling Service, a Charitable trust, and in Community CAMHS NHS. I have supported people experiencing bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, bullying, anger, parenting needs, attachment difficulties and a range of mental health problems (i.e. anxiety, depression, autistic spectrum disorder, personality disorders, etc). I have worked with clients from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, particularly individuals that have suffered trauma.
I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and follow their Ethical Code of Conduct. In addition to my clinical experience I have been a Clinical Lead for a Non-profit Organisation in Birmingham. I have delivered training workshops on psychological therapy to multidisciplinary professionals.

The fee for one-to-one hour session is £80.00. Couples are £100.00 per session.
Our first session may take up to 1 and a half hour assessment, included in this price. We can discuss your needs and what brings you to therapy in more depth in this time.

I am based in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, with easy access on public transport. Walking distance from the Jewellery quarter station and easy bus route access from Birmingham City Centre and the surrounding City areas.
Free parking available within walking distance or you can pay and display on street parking. Outside the office it is free after 6pm.
There is a waiting area should you arrive early for your appointment.
