Profile
Hello, I'm Sue,
I'd like to offer you a safe, caring relationship, in which you feel valued as a unique individual. It will be up to you to decide what you want to talk about and you will be free to take things at your own pace. I will not judge you and will try to understand your difficulties from your point of view. We can then work together to help you find a way forward that works for you.
I recognise that we all have times in our lives when it seems difficult to sort tings out alone, or when talking to friends or family isn't enough. You may be feeling depressed, dissatisfied or confused and want some help to work out what is behind these feelings. You may want to explore a current difficulty, consider making some changes in your life, or work through something which happened in the past. Talking to someone outside of your everyday situation can help you to understand yourself better, to see things more clearly and to find the resources you need to move on.
I have been working as a counsellor with adults and young people since 1998. This has included working within the NHS, Schools, Private Practice, Employee Assistance Programmes and Women's Organisations.
