About me

I’m a qualified integrative counsellor with significant experience working with a wide range of personal issues. Some people express a need to rediscover who they really are, others may be looking for better ways to manage their own stress levels or find better answers to recurring problems or just deal with anything making them feel “stuck,” so they can move on more freely with their lives. No two journeys are ever the same.

I offer a quiet and secure setting where I support each client to feel fully heard and respected as they share their experiences and explore new beginnings, choices or directions to help them move on.

My clients view their counselling as a valuable opportunity to explore their issues without any fear of judgment, finding new pathways through the issues and/or relationships they find challenging. In time it gets easier to find the best ways to achieve lasting change in themselves and better responses from others, so they can plan ahead confidently and enjoy better balances in their lives. It’s a very distinctive personal journey for each individual.

If you have important questions to explore before you can feel ready to start, you’re welcome to email me with any concerns you have, I’ll get back to you quickly. Just send me your phone number and best contact times. We can talk things through without any obligation. I also offer an initial assessment interview (one hour) free of charge, which helps people to work out their needs, share key experiences and consider what they hope to achieve over time.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

There may well be visitors to this website who have a general sense of difficulty or struggle at times and are genuinely unable to identify a clear and specific cause. This is true of a great many clients who come to counselling knowing only how they feel and how it affects them in daily life.

Please rest assured that no matter what you are experiencing, counselling can make a real difference by very careful listening and understanding, sharing your experiences and working carefully with you step by step. This should enable you to make the right changes or choices for you.

You do not need to know the name of your issue when you begin your counselling journey, you simply need the desire to change and move on in order to turn any negative experiences into a positive future.
