About me

Subashini has over 20 years of working therapeutically with children/young people , families and adults. She originally worked as a Social Worker and moved to Australia where she trained as a Psychologist, including a specialism in Family Therapy. She worked in the Private Sector (NGO), working with Young people and their families, and has been instrumental in collaboratively developing Parenting Packages. She has worked Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), a Post Natal Depression Service in Sydney, the Victims of Crime Service (Sydney) and an Employment Assistance Programme (working with adults experiencing work related stress/anxiety). Subashini worked in various Child and Adolescent Services (CAMHS) in the UK. She currently works as a CBT Psychotherapist for the NHS, as well as a practice in London offering Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for Adults/Young People.

Special Interest:

Currently, Subashini has a strong commitment to treating individuals, so that they can lead healthy lives free of depression and anxiety. She also has a strong belief in the CBT approach as an Evidenced Based Treatment Protocol, a current initiative of the IAPT services within the NHS. CBT has good evidence for producing positive results for individuals suffering from depression and anxiety. Subashini offers a safe, containing and confidential approach to helping you to realise your goals in therapy.

She has a special interest in working with individuals suffering for Social Phobia, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Mild, Moderate to Severe Depression, Self -esteem, Grief and Loss issues, Stress Management.
