Life can throw up many hurdles, some which we take in our stride, and some that may seem that little bit too tall to manage by ourselves. This is where counselling can help. I thoroughly enjoy working with people and believe that through building a relationship, facilitating change, and working collaboratively, that positive outcomes can be within anybody's reach.
On contacting me by phone or e-mail, we can discuss the possibility of working together and what that may involve. Usually we would begin with an assessment session, where we can get a clearer picture of why you feel counselling may help you at this time.
Following on from this, weekly sessions are generally most helpful, although there may be situations where fortnightly may be more beneficial for an individual.
The hardest part for most people is making that initial contact. I cannot stress enough how much I believe making that contact shows courage, despite the fact it can feel somewhat overwhelming.
