There are moments in everybody´s life when we could do with some extra support. Just as we would visit a doctor to help heal our physical ailments, at times in order to thrive we may need support to work on our psychological wellbeing too.

Therapeutically, I am a fully qualified and accredited counsellor offering an integrative approach to therapy utilising psychodynamic counselling, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused brief therapy or a combination of these approaches in a bespoke way to meet the needs and wishes of each client.
My practice is based in Brighton and so is readily accessible from the surrounding areas of Hove, Rottingdean, Saltdean, Telscombe, Peacehaven and Newhaven. There is 90 minutes free parking available opposite the clinic I work from.

University of Brighton – 2 year Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Therapeutic Counselling
University of Sussex – 1 year Postgraduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Counsellors

My portfolio of experience working as a therapist includes the following settings:
I currently work within the NHS as an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) step 3 Psychological Therapist - Counsellor in primary care. I also have NHS specialist experience providing counselling for patients with an acquired brain injury or neurological condition.
Private practice (Providing both short and longer-term 1:1 counselling, Mindfulness and CBT)
Charity sector (Providing both short and longer term 1:1 counselling and CBT)
Higher education (providing time-limited brief psychodynamic counselling and CBT)
Secondary schools (I have worked in secondary settings delivering Mindfulness to Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils and 1:1 Primary Mental Health Worker support)
In addition I am an experienced therapeutic group-work facilitator for both adults and young people, with experience of delivering groups on such topics as mindfulness, anxiety reduction, alternatives to self-injury and domestic abuse recovery programmes for example.
