At any period of our lives we can encounter overwhelming feelings or situations that we find it difficult to cope with. Recognizing that we may need support is a great first step.
Therapy can help with issues such as; depression, anxiety, relationships, work stress, bereavement, anger and many other life problems that can get in the way of getting the most out of your life.
I am a Psychotherapist offering an individual therapeutic service tailored to your needs and requirements. I believe that therapy is most importantly a safe place for you to be able to be heard without judgment and for us to jointly work towards an achievable goal in a time frame that suits.
To many the idea of therapy can be daunting and I'd like to create an environment for people to be themselves and be heard in a confidential and beneficial way to tackle issues being faced in life.
I have worked with clients for a number of years covering a wide scope of issues and people. Including young person counselling, child bereavement support, adult mental health and bereavement. Aside from counselling I have worked in business for many years and have experience of work pressures and demands in the modern world.
My approach is open and welcoming and I am trained in an integrative model covering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person centred, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic methods meaning that we can find a way of working that matches your individual and personal needs.
