Stephanie Pearce Dip Couns (MBACP)
I am a BACP qualified Counsellor who works with adults, teenagers and children.
I am a humanistic, integrative counsellor which means that I believe you are the expert on yourself. I do not offer advice but we work together to explore what is bringing you to counselling and how to get to where you want to be. Integrative counselling means I bring different approaches together to offer a tailor made therapy for you. We can work together for as few or as many therapy sessions that you feel you need.
I believe it is very important to establish a good therapeutic relationship. This means that we feel comfortable, trusting and safe to open up and work together, for this reason I offer a free initial first session. If I am not the right counsellor for you, I will suggest alternative ways for you to get the right support that you need.
I am aware from my own therapy of the and rewards and challenges that can be met through having therapy and I am always understanding and respectful of what is going on for my clients.
As a member of the BACP, I follow it's ethical framework and I am a registered therapist with Oxygen insurance.
I work from a private, comfortable room in a quiet street in Hanover, Brighton. There is free parking and I am five minute walk from Lewes Road and Elm Grove, which are serviced by most bus routes.
