Sonja Stone MBACP (Accred)
I am a BACP accredited Counsellor working with both individuals and couples. Clients come to me with a variety of worries and difficulties and from all walks of life. Counselling is a very unique and personal experience which is often informed by our individual histories and life experiences.
You may be seeking help with specific challenges such as relationship issues, work difficulties, family issues, anxiety, depression, affairs and betrayals. Or there may be a general sense of unease at where you find yourself in your life, something less specific but nonetheless disturbing. I aim to create an environment where my clients will gain a more enduring sense of self understanding as well as feeling more empowered and resilient in their everyday lives.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and a Transpersonal Diploma In Couples Counselling. I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their Ethics and Codes of Practice. I am currently studying for an MA in Personal and Professional Development.
I have several years’ experience of my own personal counselling, which means I have a good grounding in my own self-awareness and am able to create a solid therapeutic relationship with my clients.
