I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and am a member of the BACP. I have 20 years experience as a therapist both in private practice and in the NHS. I see clients from my practices in Isleworth, Middlesex and Hendon, North London.
I provide a safe, supportive, confidential and non-judgemental environment in which you can explore what has brought you to therapy. I work from an integrative framework as a therapist and tailor my approach to the specific needs of each client.
Coping with life's difficulties can sometimes feel overwhelming and can lead to you struggling emotionally. Counselling and psychotherapy is a process of helping you make sense of your thoughts and feelings so that you can then make informed decisions about what you can do to begin to feel more in control of your life. Often just putting things into words can help you to see how to move forward. Sometimes looking into the past can also be important in helping you to understand more about your present circumstances and help you to bring about lasting change.
Some of the areas I specialise in include, depression and anxiety, stress and how to manage it, loss and bereavement, relationship difficulties, coping with ill health, sexual abuse, childhood trauma, work related issues, low self esteem, and feelings of inadequacy and despair.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss further or to arrange an initial consultation.
