Profile
Negotiable fee to reflect each person's income. Low cost couple counselling.
Hello and welcome to my website. I am an experienced integrative humanistic counsellor and a psychologist, with experience in working with depression, anxiety and phobias, loss and bereavement, trauma, terminal illness, self-esteem and confidence, sexuality, relationship issues, difficulties in the workplace, major life-changes, past abuse, existential issues etc.
I am able to provide both short-term, as well as long-term therapy, offering a welcoming, confidential and safe place for you to address and explore the difficulties you are currently experiencing.
I know that sometimes life can be hard and that there are moments that we feel hopeless, feeling that there is no one that we can speak to or can understand us.For these times of distress I am here to offer you a non judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore yourself and your concerns; a confidential place where you feel accepted and through the therapeutic process you will be able to find clarity and understanding and move towards creating a more balanced way forward in your life.
I see each person as a unique individual with their own needs and wants and this is how I see therapy. You are not your problem, but your unique self and having this in mind I focus on your story and your personal process to get closer to your internal world. For that reason I work in an integrative way, which means that I can draw on aspects of different approaches, following your own needs and what may suit you better, having as theoretical home base and philosophy the person centred and humanistic values. That means that I offer you a non-judgemental and non-directive environment where both of us, by establishing a deep therapeutic relationship, work together with whatever you wish to bring in therapy.
I know from personal experience that counselling can be a difficult experience where we may have to face our own personal demons. However, I hope that I can provide you a safe and empathic environment where you can do this personal journey and support you to get closer with your ‘real’ self and to achieve emotional well-being.
