About me

I am Simon, a warm and approachable and fully qualified integrative counsellor/psychotherapist registered with UKCP working across London in various practice locations.

I see individuals and couples for brief and longer term therapy. I have therapeutic expertise with Life crisis , Sex addiction using CAT for Depression and Anxiety.
I have a lot of experience working with people from all walks of life , particularly the entertainment and business sectors.

Nowadays it is sometimes hard to get the time and space to see a therapist every week so if it is appropriate I can offer Skype online counselling as well as meeting face to face.

I offer a helpful , accepting and confidential space in which to explore in alliance issues that are currently troubling you. People often come to therapy with a wide range of issues including relationship issues, addictions, anxiety, loss of hope or meaning in life, stress, loneliness, depression, sexual problems, divorce, or bereavement.

I aim to be open to you as a unique individual who is perhaps in a vulnerable place. Counselling and psychotherapy is a journey to explore what is troubling you and try to understand it, question it and maybe transform the experience in a healing way.

Therapy works best through a relationship that contains support , encouragement and challenge. I hope to provide a safe , welcoming and confidential environment for your journey at your own pace.

I am available for early morning appointments to fit round any work commitments.

I offer weekly and fornightly one-to-one and couples counselling and psychotherapy.  The first step is to arrange to meet for an initial assessment, which will give you the opportunity to tell me more about why you are seeking counselling, and to let me know what you would like to achieve from the process. The assessment gives me the opportunity to get a better picture of your personal history, and will help us decide whether we are able to work together. concessions are sometimes available, depending on income.

If we decide to work together, I will recommend either short-term, focused work of 6-12 sessions, or longer-term work.

Subsequent weekly therapy sessions last for 50 minutes. I ask for 48 hours notice of cancellations where possible.  Missed or cancelled sessions will be charged for.

Please call or email me if you would like to make an appointment, or if you have any further questions.
