Hi, my name is Shirley. Welcome to my profile.
I know how daunting it can be taking these first steps to finding the right counsellor for you. I can offer a safe, confidential space for you to explore any difficult thoughts and feelings. People seek counselling for many different reasons and often sharing worries and concerns with a stranger in a safe, non-judgemental space can bring more honesty and takes away any concern of placing burden on family or friends.
I can offer a space where individuals can be truly listened to and heard, where any troubles past or present can be explored safely. My aim is to support you in gaining better understanding of self, feelings and behaviors and support you in making helpful, positive changes you may decide to make.
I am a person-centred counsellor and work in an empathetic, non-judgmental way. I am respectful of each persons individuality. I have worked in addictions, schools and general counselling. This has given me experience of working with clients with a wide range of issues.
Give me a call for an informal chat on 07388 500 707.
