Shirley Hesketh Registered MBACP (Accred.)
I am a professionally qualified Integrative Counsellor practicing in South Cumbria and also practice Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
I am Accredited with BACP and on their Register of Practitioners. I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I believe we all deserve the right to lead as productive and fulfilling a life as we can. If something is preventing you from feeling able to make the most of your life – it can help to talk. I aim to provide an empathetic, respectful and safe space for you to reflect and explore upon your own situation or personal circumstances, at a pace that suits you.
Having trained in biology and counselling and with a personal interest in spirituality – I have come to understand psychological wellbeing through several lenses. As your life is unique, I will draw on my Integrative approach to meet with your individual needs. I aim to promote self-reflection, growth and discovery, to help you move forward in your own life.
If you would like to find out more, or book a session, please do get in touch by calling me on 07779240178 or email me (follow the link above).
