About me

I am a professionally qualified Integrative Counsellor practicing in South Cumbria.

I am Accredited with BACP and on their Register of Practitioners.  I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I believe we all deserve the right to lead as productive and fulfilling a life as we can.  If something is preventing you from feeling able to make the most of your life – it can help to talk.  I aim to provide an empathetic, respectful and safe space for you to reflect and explore upon your own situation or personal circumstances, at a pace that suits you.

Having trained in biology and counselling and with a personal interest in spirituality – I have come to understand psychological wellbeing through several lenses. As your life is unique, I will draw on my Integrative approach to meet with your individual needs.  Some clients prefer talking, while others like to use creative approaches to enable personal exploration and promote dialogue or enquiry. Whatever your preference, I aim to promote self-reflection, growth and discovery, to help you move forward in your own life.

If you would like to find out more, or book a session, please do get in touch by calling me on 07779240178 or email me (follow the link above).

Finding the right therapist for you is an important part of your therapeutic process.

I offer an initial consultation, at a reduced rate, in order to provide you with the opportunity to meet with me and discuss your needs and expectations of counselling. There will be an opportunity to ask me any questions or raise any concerns you may have, as well as offering you the chance to see how I might work with you.

If we decide to work together, we can discuss sessional arrangements.  I offer both long and short term counselling options, on a weekly or fortnightly basis depending on your needs.

If you would like to find out more, or book a session, please do get in touch by calling me on 07779240178 or email me (follow the link above).
